Rewire Your Brain

Why You Must Reboot Your Brain

– you have hundreds of thoughts that are stuck in your head .. and you don’t even realize it
– these thoughts add to your stress and anxiety and are keeping you from a better quality of life
– your memory, you ability to make decisions and your PROGRESS are all being held back

What You’ll Need To Do This

– 3 separate legal pads or notebooks
– your favorite pen (lot of writing)
– a quiet place where you will not be distracted or interrupted (perhaps an hour or more)

Let’s Reboot in 8 Steps

1. The “To Do” Expedition
– take one pad and pen, think of all the things in your life that you need to do, everything!
– may include goals and aspirations and regular day to day stuff
– one entry per line
– no excuses or comments, just the to do’s
– keep writing until you cannot think of any more things to do in your life
– work till your brain is exhausted with the thought of adding todos

2. The “Desire” Adventure
– take a break and relax a bit, walk around a bit, deep breaths
– get a fresh new pad (put the first one away)
– write down everything you want to have in your life (what you want different, material things)
– if you could have anything, what would you want
– describe them in great detail
– what would the perfect life look like to you
– anything you have ever dreamed about
– don’t stop until you cannot write any more or think of anything else that you want
– push to the point of exhaustion

3. The “Fear” Discovery
– take a break and relax a bit, walk around a bit, deep breaths
– get a fresh new pad (put the 2nd one away)
– think about all the things you are afraid of in your life
– all the things you are scared of, face your fears
– include phobias both weak and strong
– include insecurities
– don’t stop until you cannot write any more or think of anything else that you are afraid of
– push to the point of exhaustion

4. Read all of your entries, one by one, OUTLOUD – and in the order you wrote them
– take a break and relax a bit, walk around a bit, deep breaths
– very big difference when you include this step
– start with pad one, then two, then three

5. Write down any new thoughts on the appropriate list when it ‘pops’ into your head
– don’t stop once you get started writing again
– go back to reading the list again

6. Examine your FEAR entries and think of possible solutions that can alleviate them. If you think of things “to do” or “desire” as part of the solution, add it to that list.
– if you think of a complete solution that you can “do” add it to your “to do” list and STRIKE IT OFF your FEAR list.

7. Examine your DESIRE entries and think of possible solutions so you can acquire them. If you think of things “to do” or “fear” add it to that list.
– what do I need to do to get it
– make more money is a very common solution to many desire related entries

8. Prioritize your TO DO entries .. then sit back and relax.

Most people are afraid to take action .. because they are afraid that if it doesn’t work, they will be a failure. If they do not take action, it feels better.

Stop sweeping your problems under the rug. Face your problems and get real solutions.

By doing something and progress, anything can be accomplished.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully rebooted your brain.

Make copies of this information and store it in a safe place.

Now What?
– take ACTION
– work with your master “TO DO” list
– start at the top and get to work
– when you complete an item strike it off your list
– date your accomplishments
– save the pages
– comment on why you wanted to to the items
– make sure to keep details about your FEARS (the ones you can do something about)
– the steps to accomplish anything are finite. What is variable is how long we take to do them
– repeat this at least once a month, add to existing pads
– it will go a lot faster the next time
